DMOZ is a bit different - To add your url YOU MUST FIRST find the directory where best suits you to be placed in - Most of you could use http://dmoz.org/Shopping/General_Merchandise/

This would be for General Merchandise -

Once you fing the right catagory, look to see a link " Suggest URL " click i=on it and fill in the information about you site -

VERY IMPORTANT - to keep your Title and Description SHORT and to the POINT

i have heard that dmoz isn't that important as before,it's full of variable since its members are changing all the time,and it rarely list your url even you wait sevearl months or a year,as i know many ones have tried to be listed,but failed at last,but i will try it.

I have heard the same from some so called SEO experts but the fact is, it is important, if it were not no one would be trying so hard to get their sites listed.

I have been trying to get 3 sites of mine listed for over a year and no luck what-so-ever. I am looking into getting some help from some DMOZ experts and see what they can do. If it works I will let you all know here and who to contact.

Its been a long journey but at some point you must reach your destination.
